NEGATIVE EFFECTS OF MASTURBATION AND HOW TO STAY HEALTHY


Is masturbation a healthy sexual behavior This is one question that a lot of guys have battled with secretly over time.There seem to be so much fuss about the suppose dangers of masturbation going around. Most people from a spiritual perspective have condemned this act and argued that it is a sin before God. However,there are people who believe masturbation is neither a sin nor is it an abnormal sexual behavior. These people have pointed out that masturbation is quite beneficial to the body helping to burn calories and boost self confidence.Others have hinted that masturbation can be very helpful in situations where one partner in a relationship is ill and may also helps strike a balance in cases where one partner needs more sexual activities than the other. They claim that masturbation has no negative effects unless it is done excessively.

Frequent and excessive masturbation is said to have both psychological and physiological side effects that could be harmful to the individuals health and cause physical changes to the body.Some of these side effects include Weak Erection, Premature Ejaculation, Pain or cramp in the pelvic cavity ,Testicular Pain, Impotence in extreme cases and loss of hair.

How then does one know when masturbation becomes too much?What are the symptoms that one might experience?

Some the known reasons why people masturbate include:
To experience pleasure
To relieve tension (sexual tension or general tension)
To relieve stress
To engage in sex when a partner is unavailable or does not want to have sex
To relax
To learn about what feels good to them and how they like to be stimulated or pleasured


Excessive masturbation can lead to symptoms like stress, fatigue, and memory loss,youthful impotence/erectile dysfunction and seminal leakage which can cause sperm to leak out from the penis even when there is no erection.To overcome this side effects it is advisable to keep ejaculation down to two or three times a week while you masturbate.Sexual activity can be experienced more often if one learns how to achieve orgasm without ejaculation. Accordingly achieving orgasm without ejaculation stores bioenergy and makes penis firmer, hence your erections last longer and the volume one ejaculates is bigger.over-ejaculation stimulates parasympathetic nervous functions, which results in the over production of sex hormones known as acetylcholine, dopamine and serotonin.Additionally,the liver's ability to release enzymes that aid in hormone production is affected. As a result, the brain and adrenal glands produce too much dopamine, norepinephrine, epinephrine, and other hormones and neural transmitters.

In conclusion,it is important to say again that masturbation is a perfectly normal sexual behavior for both males and females and it helps you become more comfortable with your sexuality.However,like everything that has a good side masturbation also has its bad sides. Hence the secret for overcoming is to know when to get off by avoiding any addiction or excessive abuse which might be very harmful to the individual.
